Linda L. Reed – lreed@aui-inc.com
President
Linda began her career in Insurance in 1977 with a Surplus Lines Carrier
in Houston, as a Casualty Underwriter. In 1983, she relocated to Austin,
which is her hometown. After 3 years with another Surplus Lines Brokers
she joined AUI in 1986, as their first employee. After a few years
as Underwriting and Program Manager of AUI, Linda became a partner
in the Company, and in 1995 became the owner and President. She is
still involved, on daily basis, with underwriting, as well as overseeing
the entire operations of AUI. Linda enjoys traveling, reading, sports,
boating - with special emphasis on UT Football, and spending time
with her family.
Joel V. Reed – jreed@aui-inc.com
Vice President
Joel is a graduate of Texas State University (formally SWT) He joined
AUI in 1993, after a career in the Construction industry. Joel is
in charge of AUI's accounting department, heads up the claims department
and oversees the Flood Program AUI has had since 1993. He is currently
working on his Associates in Surplus Lines designation, which he
plans to complete in the next 2 years. Joel enjoys reading, sports,
gun collecting, and boating.
Zak C. Reed – zakreed@aui-inc.com
Senior Account Executive
Zak is also a Texas State University graduate. He completed his
degree in 1999, while working part time for AUI. After graduating,
Zak decided to continue in Insurance and began training as an underwriter.
He now oversees a large majority of AUI's renewal business and has
established a substantial book of new accounts over the last few
years. Zak is considered AUI's resident sports expert. He enjoys
spending time with his family, hunting, golfing, fantasy sports
of any sort and, when the weather permits, floating down the Guadalupe
River or boating on Lake Travis.

Account Executive
After several years living in Fredericksburg Kath relocated to Austin
with her new husband. We feel lucky that the drive to Fredericksburg
every day became too much and she looked for a new job position
closer to home. Kath handled all customer service on our accounts for AUI for the first 4 years with us and in 2008 was promoted to her current position of Marketing and
Underwriting. She has completed her first Insurance Course Certification in the Principals of Insurance. She enjoys motorcycling
with her husband; vacations to visit her children and grandchildren, reading and watching Texas Football.
Amanda Beam – abeam@aui-inc.com
Customer Service Representative
Amanda is the newest member of the team and has quickly become part of our family. She recently relocated to the Dripping
Springs area from Gilmer, Texas, with her husband and 3 kids. She is new to the insurance industry but is learning
very quickly and handles policy issuance and other Customer related procedures in our office. Amanda loves music,
camping and spending time with her family.

Customer Service Representative
Another member of our growing family Yari joined us after working at the Texas Windstorm Association and Fair Plain.
Her experience also includes some time with Progressive. She handles the processing of policies and Customer related
services in our office. Yari enjoys water sports, Texas Football and playing Volleyball. She also loves spending time with
her family and friends, especially that new baby girl that arrived October 2008.
